For over 30 years, the High School of Economics & Finance has provided thousands of New York City students a world-class college-preparatory education focused on putting students on-track for careers in the financial services industry. Our Academy of Finance and Virtual Enterprise programs offer students access to hands-on career experiences and internship opportunities.

Welcome Back to the 2026-2027 School Year

The High School of Economics & Finance welcomes all new and returning students to the 2026-2027 school year starting on Thursday, September 10, 2026.

Orientation for the Class of 2030

To celebrate our new class, we will hold a SPECIAL ORIENTATION PROGRAM FOR OUR INCOMING 9th GRADERS AND THEIR FAMILIES ON THURSDAY, MAY 28, 2026, AT 5:00 P.M. in our auditorium.

ECO Summer Experience 2026

We are offering all in-coming 9th graders the HSEF ECO Summer Experience from July 13th through July 30th, Mondays through Thursdays, from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. All incoming 9th graders are expected to attend this important program that serves as a stepping stone to high school life.
